Energy Efficient Glazing, Speaker: Bob Schrock CSI CCPR, LEED AP BD+C. PPG Industries Architectural Services Manager

The PPG presentation on Energy Efficient Glazing will provide information on the technology used in manufacturing glazing and low e coatings.  It will demonstrate how low e coatings work and how energy use in a building is impacted by the selection of low e coatings.  It will explore the relationship between energy management and visible light, define Spectrally Selective glass, discuss the differences between “passive” and “solar control” low-e coatings and show the impact of low e coatings applied on either surface #2 or #3.
