Architects Leaning Forward: March Chapter Meeting

AIA Akron members and guests are invited to attend our March Chapter Meeting, Architects Leaning Forward: Fabricating, Researching, and Inventing New Paths for Architectural Practice presented by William Willoughby, AIA, NCARB Associate Dean, College of Architecture and Environmental Design, Kent State University.
Architects that fabricate building components, invent tools, and conduct research are developing novel approaches to practice. This session shares case studies that of firms that are “leaning forward”, exploring new services and experimenting with how to push practice forward along new paths. This presentation looks deeply into the present tense of practice by identifying select firms that are on the cusp of reinventing what architects do.
